NT will be showing the new film, More than a woman, at the Institute of Contemporary Art, commonly known as the ICA, along with other members of Feminist Practices in Dialogue to coincide with their exhibition We are Anti-Capiphallists: Feminist Practices in Dialogue; the release of their first ever publication; and their evening discussion: We are Anti-Capiphallists.

Feminist Practices in Dialogue, is an exhibition and a programme of video works, performances, sound pieces and discussions on the challenges facing contemporary feminism. The evening discussion: We are Anti-Capiphallists: Feminist Practices in Dialogue, will take place at 6.30pm in the Theatre and is a ticketed event.
The participating artists include Miriam Austin, Alison Ballance and Abigail Smith, Ingrid Berthon-Moine, Cécile Emmanuelle Borra, Rose Gibbs, Lora Hristova, Catherine Long and Lauren Schnieder.

Art Basel Miami 2015 again

On Friday 4 December 2015, two more of NT’s films will be shown as part of this year’s Art Basel Miami Beach Film Programme.

The 2015 programme includes films made by artists such as Tracey Emin, Nikki S. Lee, Liz Magic Laser, Cornelia Parker, Camille Henrot, and Ida Applebroog, to name a few.

Outdoor screenings of the Film Programme will take place at SoundScape Park and will be shown on the 7,000-square-foot outdoor projection wall of the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center, from 2 December to 5 December 2015. The Art Basel Miami Film Programme is curated by David Gryn of Daata Editions and Artprojx.

NT has once again been included in the Art Basel Miami Film programme.

As with the Art Basel Miami film programme in 2013, two NT films have been included in this year’s programme. The new films included are S-time and Julian in two parts.
